In this presentation, I will present the research on medication errors and what happens with the blind and elderly that contribute to this problem. You will see what caregivers can do to keep their loved ones safe at home. A demonstration of how this technology can be used in both rural and urban areas.
Bio
Dr. Barbara Coatney has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Mississippi. She was a Special Education teacher for 12 years and 20 years in school administration. She has been awarded millions of dollars to improve the lives of children in school districts and community services. In 2018 Minority Champion SBA award for training 35 small businesses. In 2021 she represented Mississippi at the White House for her ability to train in the area of small business. In 2022 she received the Give Award, the Governor’s Initiative for Volunteer Excellence.
